Lear 45
The Lear 45 model is the beginning of a new design since the original Lear jet began manufacturing in the 60’s thus altering the Learjet line with its four different models. The 45, 45XR, 40 and 40XR. This aircraft was originally developed to compete and rival Cessnas Citation XLS. While they could not Match the cabin height of the Cessna they made up for it with their traditional high-speed performance. The first prototype of the Lear 45 took the skies on October 7TH 1995, the 32nd anniversary of the first Learjet 23.
